Good Morning Tourism Partners,
Good news from the Meetings & Conventions Team this week. The Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads and the Virginia State Firefighters Association have merged, and they are now known as “First Responders of Virginia.” Originally scheduled to meet in Virginia Beach this past fall, this newly formed group was forced to cancel due to coronavirus restrictions. The exciting news is that they are now confirmed to meet in Virginia Beach at the Convention Center this September. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase what a great meeting location Virginia Beach is and how our amenities and outstanding service sets us apart from the competition. More details coming soon!
Our efforts to promote Virginia Beach in January were phenomenal. Here is a chart of our earned media coverage with live links so you can read the articles at your leisure.
