I'm pleased to share some more great news this week. The Virginia Beach CVB is now an event partner with ASAE's (American Society of Association Executives) Alliance Partnership Program. Established 100 years ago, ASAE is a membership organization of more than 48,000 association executives and industry partners representing 7,400 organizations. The Alliance Partnership Program provides the industry partner community with opportunities to align itself with ASAE, and the association sector, through customized marketing platforms. It also offers partners the chance to help build and maintain year-round relationships with ASAE members and nonprofit communities worldwide. The official ASAE announcement can be found here.  

I hope you'll join me in congratulating CVB Director of Convention Sales Sally Noona, who leads our Meetings and Conventions unit, and her dedicated team, for all their hard work on this incredible success which is sure to give us all some lift when meeting groups begin to meet in person again. It's going to be exciting to watch this partnership grow as we host new groups and welcome back the many groups who have long known that Virginia Beach offers everything a meeting planner could hope for in a destination and much, much more. Within these groups are members who will have the opportunity to transform their business trip into a family visit to Virginia Beach, so there is great potential with this new alliance.
