December 17, 2021

Dear Valued Industry Partners,

As we close out 2021, I wanted to share a few fun facts about our successful collaboration with the Norfolk CVB on the “Together for the Holidays” pass campaign :

  • The campaign has delivered over 1.8 million impressions.
  • Between November 22 through December 13, the site has received more than 15k clicks.
  • There have been almost 900 signups for the “Together for the Holidays” pass.
  • “Virginia Beach – Holiday Events” Is currently the top-performing ad group for the campaign with a 25.75% click-through rate.

It is almost mind-blowing to be so close to the end of yet another exciting but very challenging year for our beloved tourism industry. Together in 2021, we have faced ups and downs and all things in between. From the painful passing of several of our industry’s staunchest advocates to feeling exhilarated yet humbled by your vote of confidence in me and my team, this year has been like a ride many of us have never experienced, yet we are still standing! If you are reading this, we hope you’ll join us in pressing on to 2022 with hopeful hearts and our eyes fixed on success as we forge on together. On behalf of my CVB team, please enjoy the happiest of holiday seasons and we’ll see you in 2022!
