We are still in need of hotel & attraction offers for our “Surf, Sand & Study” package. The package is geared toward families with children who are learning virtually this fall and want to travel. The campaign will begin on September 8 and run through the end of March. Campaign components will include digital advertising, social media, and a strong public relations strategy. In an effort to continue our commitment to safety & cleanliness, the city has extended the Beach Ambassador Program through September 30. The program will continue to be funded through the CARES Act. Partner agencies, public works, and the Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service continue to work closely together on this extension.
